An Oasis Congregation

Sunday, December 10, 2006 (EST) - San Francisco Choral Artists
speaker: Magen Solomon - Artistic Director
location: St. Paul's Episcopal Church

Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, 4:00PM
Winter Solstice

From the darkest, shortest day of the year, we experience the dark and celebrate the coming of light in Christian, Jewish and Pagan traditions
from around the world. Our December concerts will feature local historian Stephen Wilson, who will be our guide in exploring the themes of light and dark as they are represented in many cultures,
and the mystical sounds of bells and the magic of candlelight will provide the perfect setting. The program features three world premieres, and music from Hungary, Germany, England, Scandinavia, France, and the United States.
