St. Paul’s Chancel Choir is comprised of 10-14 singers, men and women, including four paid section leaders. They rehearse Thursday evenings and sing every Sunday at the 10:00am Choral Eucharist, at Compline on fourth Sundays, and also on Holy Days and other special occasions. The choir’s repertoire includes music from Gregorian Chant to modern Anglican, Negro Spirituals and American Shape-note music. For major feast days, they normally sing a mass ordinary.
The choir meets weekly, Thursdays at 7 pm, and Sundays at 9 am in the Choir Room.
Holiday Children's Choir
St. Paul's Children's Choir is up and running!
Children from both the school and the congregation are welcome to participate and help bring our St. Paul's family closer together. Sing in a choir and learn music theory, too!
Rehearsals 4:45-6pm, Thursdays, except Thanksgiving.
This group will sing will sing with the. Chancel Choir on Advent I, Sunday, Dec. 2, 10am Lessons & Carols. The service will include Advent hymns, music of J. S. Bach, plus a new work written by their music director, Christopher Kula: O heavenly Word, eternal Light.
Rehearsals 4:00-4:40pm, Thursdays, except Thanksgiving.
This group will sing for the Dec 24 5pm Family Christmas Eve Service.
There is no fee for this activity. Rehearsals take place Thursday afternoons in November and December (except Thanksgiving) in the church choir room.
