Helping Our Senior Citizens

Episcopal Outreach to Elders

St. Paul's supports programs oriented to Seniors by lending its building and grounds to these programs, by particaption of clergy, staff and parishioners in the programs, and through modest financial support.  We work together with Episcopal Senior Communities (ESC), who also operate St. Paul's Towers.

The core outreach programs of St. Paul's and ESC are:

Senior Resources at St. Paul's

Senior Resources at St. Paul's is a community outreach program to individuals 60 and over living in Northern Alameda County.  Senior Resources provides information and referral, consultation and care planning for frail elders. Services are offered at no charge on a non-sectarian, non-discriminatory basis.  Click the link to our Senior Resources Page to learn more.

Senior Produce Markets (Thursday Food Co-op)

The Thursday Food Coop provides fresh produce at wholesale prices to the neighborhood. It is open to all on Thursdays at 10 am.  Episcopal Senior Communities subsidizes produce and dry goods for sale, initiates and coordinates the markets until volunteers are in place and provides special events and refreshments.  Contact Amy Shaible at 510-444-5973 or Carolyn Bolton (510) 444-0243 for more information. Senior Center Without Walls
