The Alexander Allen Memorial Organ (1934)
Austin Organ Company, Opus 1862, James. B. Jamison, Designer

“Saint Paul’s provides a near-perfect environment for organ music. Its warm, even acoustic carries the sound of the organ from chancel to narthex with virtually no change in timbre or volume. This is a true luxury!”

- Schoenstein & Co, Master Organ Builders and Restorers

PictureBeautiful decorative pipes hide the organ loft and the 3,000+ working pipes within it.
St. Paul’s Austin Organ, built and installed in 1934, was designed by James B. Jamison, one of the foremost organ designers of the twentieth century. Renowned for its clarity, versatility, and grandeur, it is considered one of the finest examples of American Classic organ design on the West Coast.

We are privileged to have internationally acclaimed Director of Music, Benjamin Bachmann, MMus, FAGO, leading our music program and serving at the console. His artistry brings this remarkable instrument to life in worship, concerts, and special services.

Come hear Ben play our magnificent Austin organ at the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service, at Second Sunday Evensong (September to May), and at special services and musical events.
