Ministries

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services,  but the same Lord;
and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who  inspires them all in everyone.
To each is  given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.  - 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

THE NEXT STAND IN is Saturday October 9, 11am to noon, 7th Street and Mandela Parkway.

SAY SOMETHING…Speak up for peace. Community can change a culture of violence.
DO SOMETHING…Empower the unsheltered to rebuild their lives.
Let's Do More. Join us.

St. Paul's is a partner congregation in SAVE (Soldiers Against Violence Everywhere).  Reminiscent of the 1960’s Sit-ins, Soldiers Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) was created to raise awareness about the crisis of violence in the city of Oakland. SAVE encourages residents to break the silence, speak out, get engaged, and take a non violent stand against the murders in our community.

More ways to GET INVOLVED in our community

Do you have a spare minute to help someone? Outreach to the immediate neighborhood and to Oakland as a whole is extremely important at St. Paul's. Among other groups and efforts, we support:

Interfaith Council of Alameda

 ICAC Mission: Promote mutual respect, understanding and engagement among the county's diverse faith traditions, to mobilize people to serve their community

at St. Paul's, All Are welcome.
