Oasis Ministry at St. Paul's

  • St. Paul's was an early adopter of the Oasis Ministry in Diocese of California in the 1990s, completing an intentional process of reflection and education, and signing a public affirmation of commitment to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) people, and committing to participating in programs and actions to support full inclusion of all LGBT+ people in the church and the world. St. Paul's is also a member of Integrity USA, working for the full equality of LGBTQ+ persons ​in every part of The Episcopal Church.

St. Paul's celebrates Pride Month in June every year. participates in the SF Pride Parade, and the Oakland Pride Parade.

  • Pastorally sensitive care for LGBTQ+ people in dealing with spiritual concerns
  • The spiritual empowerment of LGBTQ+ people
  • Sharing the Good News of Christ

  • Advocacy for the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ people throughout the Church
