Worship at St. Paul's

Our worship follows the order of Book of Common Prayer 1979 (BCP), and other liturgical resources, with music from a variety of musical resources, authorized by the Episcopal Church, including the 1982 Hymnal, Lift Every Voice and Sing (LEVAS), and Enriching Our Worship (EOW).

If this is your first time to St Paul's - Welcome! We're happy to have you with us!

Sundays

8:00am - Holy Eucharist

10:00am - Choral Eucharist
With Choir, Organ.
Healing in the chapel.

Wednesdays

12:10pm Holy Eucharist in the chapel.
First Wednesdays: with healing prayer.

Second Sundays (Fall to Spring)

4:00pm Evensong
Sung prayers as the evening comes.
With Choir, Organ.
Join us for this gentle evening service of psalms, canticles, hymns, and anthems sung by the choir. There is no sermon—just music and prayer to end the day in peace.

Evensong, rooted in the ancient monastic offices of Vespers and Compline, has been a beloved Anglican tradition since the Reformation. Across the centuries, great composers from England and beyond have enriched this beautiful liturgy with music that lifts the heart and unlocks inner doors of hope.

Fourth Sundays (all year)

8:00pm Compline
Prayers for the end of the day.
With Choir.
The transcendent quality of Gregorian chant and polyphony, the period of silence, and the beauty of St. Paul’s Church bathed in candlelight make this service an oasis of peace and serenity. There is no sermon.

Since the fourth century, monks have said or sung Compline as the last service at the end of their workday.
In addition to our year-round variety of worship services listed above, St. Paul's also celebrates the Liturgical Seasons, with a calendar of seasonal worship services, published on our online calendar. For more information about the Liturgical Seasons, visit the Episcopal Church's Liturgical Calendar.
